Le Dust Sucker is an appropriate choice for the long awaited debut album on the ever funky Plong! imprint. Both their twelves have been the most popular with jocks by a country mile - in particular the Fabric crew - here they build up a convincing double album’s worth of warped disco, blorty house and outright goodtimes’ footstompers. "Mean Boy" adopts a pleasing pop stance, Daft Punky in the best way - elsewhere there’s flirtations with the uber cool electrodisco stylings of I-F and The Parallax Corporation, "Fancy Ball" hits a Metro Area bullseye with enough sass for the ladies’ sasses, and "Formerly known as Satisfaction" maintains this roadblocking funk party approach.
